The 2025 Pipeline Dreams cohort, managed by the UMass Chan Collaborative in Health Equity, is set to empower 33 high school juniors and seniors as they explore potential careers in health and science. This innovative program aims to bridge the gap between education and professional opportunities, providing students with valuable insights and experiences in the healthcare field.
Participants will engage in a variety of activities designed to enhance their understanding of health equity and the importance of diversity in the medical profession. The program includes mentorship from professionals in the field, hands-on workshops, and opportunities for networking with peers and industry leaders.
By focusing on underrepresented groups in health sciences, Pipeline Dreams seeks to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals who can address the disparities in health access and outcomes. This initiative not only prepares students for future careers but also contributes to a more equitable healthcare system for all.
