Natrona County health and food inspections (6/19/26–6/25/26)

CASPER, Wyo. - The Casper-Natrona County Health Department conducted its weekly round of inspections on local food establishments, covering restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, mobile food units, and commissaries. The report for the week of June 19 through June 25 includes a mix of routine checks and follow-up visits.

Several locations received high marks for cleanliness and proper food handling. Among them, a popular downtown diner passed with zero violations, showing strong adherence to temperature control and sanitation protocols. However, a few establishments faced citations for repeat issues. One convenience store was cited for improper cold storage, with several items held above the safe temperature threshold. The store was given a re-inspection date to correct the problem.

A mobile food truck was temporarily shut down after inspectors found a lack of running water and improper handwashing facilities. The operator was required to fix the issue before resuming service. Meanwhile, a local grocery store passed its inspection but received a warning for a minor pest issue in the dry storage area.

Health officials remind the public that full inspection reports are available for review. The department encourages residents to report any concerns about food safety directly to their office.
